I need
1. Dip stick for chain oiler tank
2. Gold crest screwdriver handle for tool kit
3. 10mm allen key wrench for z1 tool kit
4. #754 key
Items available for sale or trade. I have two extra hensteeth feeler gauge
assorted keys. extra chain oiler tank ,bracket and pump. beautiful z1 seats

If it were mine, I would just do enough to make it road legal, and leave the rest alone, love that old abandoned look, far too many restored Zeds out there now. :wink:

Good to see the bike has the original paint on the tank which shows the correct lining something very few painters in the UK can get right.

That was a thought. However everything is too far gone. Rust like I have never seen. When bike arrived carbs were already spot cleaned. I installed battery and the old zed came to life. Last running 1997. I actually road 14 scary miles yesterday. Neck bearing shot tyres are the worst, fun ride the old hooker zorst sounds great
