I have sold bikes in the past because they were too clean to change. never again. just because it is nice quality paint is no reason to keep something that is hideous. <not that your bike is hideous>

It is still sat there waiting for me to finish the Z1b!

I've decided to give it a reprieve and not put the zephyr front/back end on. Not sure whether to keep the rear disc set up or convert back to drum. Funny how the frame is Z1a numbers but seems to have the correct looking rear master cylinder mounts. Do you know any of it's history Ken?

No I don't. Bought as found. It ran sweet as a nut so that was that.

Sounds bizarre/dodgy/cool/weird/sorted. (Delete as appropriate. Ignorance was clearly bliss. Glad not to be an anorak.

I prefer the zephyr's to my old z thou , a little lower in the seat helps with my short legs , the flip paint is good.
