this afternoon i have rebuilt the bottom end of the engine.I have replaced the crank with a new one from www.kawasakitripleparts.com .In honesty the one i took out looks perfect but i like to be thorough and have replaced it as a matter of policy.

Just wanted to add my bit,and say what a great job you are doing on the s1.I am also jealous of your h2,i had an h1f in the 90s wish i still had it :cry: anyway good luck with the s1 and keep the pics coming.

Kas great thread thats a very thorough rebuild going on there the 250 will be nice addition to your allready very nice collection.
We're rebuilding a wee KR1s different era but a future classic I think.This is whats keeping me from the Z1000r.I've got a this far so far.

ok.Sadly not a lot to report but in the last few days i have busied myself by renovating some parts.I have to do this as i am stuck for things to do until i get the chrome back. :??

Today i have finished off my seat,fitting the strap and hardware etc.The wheel rims and some other parts are now ready,so shortly i should be able to make it a rolling chassis.

Finally got the chrome back on tuesday so the wheels are now rebuilt and i have also put the rear shockers back together along with the front forks.
