Chop block on a motorbike ?????

And I criticised Pigford for using preinsulated terminals

Quite right Chris :) When I'm PM I shall ban the sale of pre-insulated terminals as a major contribution to road safety :D They're a bloody menace  .... as for choc blocks

hi mate

well no progress at the moment, so near too :(
As well as getting myself a new job (longer hours). My mum is very ill in hospital and she lives a fair distance from me, so I have been doing a lot of traveling to see her.

The only things I need are new front discs and tyres

I need to polish the lip on the rear wheel and paint both wheels
I also need to fabricate a chain guard and sort the steering lock out

I would like to change to the GSXR handle bar switches too, but that can wait.

I hope to get something done at the week end I,ll keep you posted

:)

Hi Ztig,

Didn't mean to hassle, spend your time with your Mum, the bike can wait a while.

I didn,t even have to put charge in the battery it started first press of the button.

any way the wheels are now polished.

This is how it is sitting in my garage at the moment.

That looks like a 'Right Hansome Beasty'.

See you're still running the injection, still have it fitted to mine.... works a treat.

This is what it looks like now. I have just got to get some new front discs and fit the resisters to the indicators and it will be ready for the MOT.

Couple of little things also needed A small ball bearing for the passenger foot peg (the peg keeps falling down ) and a spring for the handle that keeps the seat on. Anyone got one ?

Next year I will be looking to get it a 'proper' spray job :)

PM me your address Ztig, I have deffo got the ball bearing, there is a little spring behind it, do you need that too? Should be able to dig you out a seat catch spring as well, but will need to check that one out.

Ztig, I have found a seat catch spring, it will be in the post first thing in the morning along with a ball bearing. Spring has a bit of surface rust, but I have found if you treat it with a bit of Kurust, you will get a nice blackish finish.
