Couldn't be worse date! That's the weekend before Spa so the politics of securing Donington, Portmaio, Cadwell and Spa all in quick succession will be more tricky than Brexit.
I know CBT have to go with what's offered by the tracks but surely something later in the year could have been an option. Did Rob or Darin suggest any other events in 2017?
Personally I'd prefer Cadwell to Donington if I had to give up one to appease she who must be obeyed

how are the groups done, by experience or engine size, if it's by experience I'd go in novice and book now as my H**** 400 would be fun round Cadwell if the Z isn't ready.
In previous years it's novice, sometimes novice + (where I tend to lurk), pocket rockets (2 strokes and 400 screamers) and superbikes (bit fast for me).

Robin it is "too" quick. And you a teacher???

As to my group you are probably right. Last year the novice group was very in-experienced and contained mobile chicanes and roadblocks particularly on a GSXR.

Not sure whether to go Novice or Novice +, I haven't done a trackday in 13 years but I have done a lot of laps of Cadwell - albeit before the silly chicane before the esses at the bottom of the mountain existed, probably best to go Novice where I can be a mobile chicane.
Have to work out how much it's going to cost for the weekend.
