Wife is away and the sun is shining so spent the day bolting various bits and pieces back on my Z900. Only 4 weeks until it's off to Spa but the to do list is reducing. The one big thing on the list is start it up! Shouldn't be too much of an issue as it was at GP Performance last autumn for dyno time. 132bhp should see the old girl fly!

Just the track day bit. It's pretty potent with 132bhp from the GP Performance dyno when they did the set up before Christmas but it's mostly show with a bit of go!

Safely back from Spa. The thing is a rocket and I was hugely impressed

One session it decided to run on 3 and jam its throttle half open which was fun but human error behind these and simple fix. Sunday afternoon saw an open pit lane so managed to get in a few laps before it popped out a fork seal through Eau Rouge spraying me with oil. The bang and oil had me fearing the worst at the time so was very relieved to see a fork seal displaced when I coasted to a halt.

Things to do once it's home are sort front forks and invest in a paddock starter. I was told it smokes a bit too so might need to investigate this.

I have tried to upload videos but my Drift cam uses a file format not supported by YouTube so need to convert first.

Lovely, purposeful Old Skool racer. Love them Astralites.... I tried to get a set at reasonable money but could never find any.

Nice work
