My June 73 Z1 with all original paint and mostly unrestored. Came from Florida about 5 years ago and I am the first registered keeper in the UK.
Original Takasago wheels and seat etc. No replica parts anywhere and engine has never been apart. Only had 2 owners in the states and was stored for years before it came over here. Only 20k miles from new and all correct date codes. I have some NOS parts such as switches and seat to go on it but will never restore it fully. Its my favourite bike :D

Some stunning bikes you've got there. I know what you mean about having kawasaki thing. What tyres are you using on the z1 . I'm looking for a set that's looks like the original ones.

I have Dunlop Gold Seal on the Z1 to keep the original look but they are not brilliant tyres. I have recently fitted new Continentals on my 72 H2 and they look traditional while having a modern compound. I would suggest these for the Zed ast hey have transformed the handling on the H2 compared to the old Gold Seals that were on it before. I have Avon Roadriders on the H2B which are great tyres and grip realy well but they look very modern so might not suit if you want originality.
Zedpower used to sell Gold Seal tyres but not sure if they still do ?

Was your Z1 in the 2014 calendar that Mark Tiller sold- the July page?
Has the paint been re-laquered or just buffed to a shiny sheen?
Awesome original example, and yes a great collection too.

I have 3 100% original jaffa paint sets for the bike and the set in the pictures is the best one with no fade and few marks however its not the set that was on it when it came from the states. I have that in what my missus refers to as " my stash "
