north west group ride Saturday

all welcome, meeting at 09:45 at Myerscough pub , LHS just opposite British Aerospace on A59, roughly 1 mile north of the A59/A677 junction. If you pass the Premier Inn on LHS, you've just missed the Myerscough !
Route is A59 ( Fast A road, some dual carriageway ) to Sawley, twisty narrow B roads to Slaidburn ( tea break here , walker's cafe should be open ) , high moors B road (mixture of single and dual lane roads ) to Settle ( fill up with petrol here ), then B6479 /6255 to Hawes.
These 2 are , IMHO, the best biking roads in the region.
Lunch at Hawes, ( cafe, chipshop or pubs ), then turn around , A684 to Sedburgh, A683 down to Kirkby Lonsdale ( Devil's Bridge, make sure your bike is legal, taxed, etc, the Police may be there, maybe not on Saturday ), then A683 down to J34 at Lancaster. From, there, people can split to take route home.

PS getting slightly lost is a vague possibility on this ride.
