BUCKS RALLY 3RD - 5TH JULY 2009 DONT MISS IT!!!!!!!

#1 PostAuthor: bedlow1 » Tue Feb 10, 2009 7:03 pm

Hello Z1 fans
I have been organizing our BUCKS rally for the past 3 years and its is often proved difficult to find a venue, confirm numbers etc. when attendance is often subject to the weather, And we have had some shite weather here in BUCKS! also were as the Bucks rally used to be the only rally in the southern Z1 calendar these days with membership numbers growing and alternative rallies to visit this has also diluted attendance numbers this makes it even harder to guarantee numbers to our hosts..

So this year we have decided to hold our 2009 BUCKS rally at the chinnor bike show weekend, those who came 2 years ago will remember the mud bath there and only the brave to take there pride and joy on to the rally field. Hopefully we will have super sunshine this year!!

The beauty of taging on to the Chinnor show is that there is no need to pre book just turn up if the weather is great otherwise stay in bed! I will as usual stir up an interest with my contacts at Kawasaki Uk and see if they can donate some nice prizes, and also the usual press and media coverage.

The dates are 3rd -5th july 2009
There is a small admission fee to be paid on arrival this event supports the Chiltern air balance that has saved the lives of bike riders.
On site there is camping, toilets, Live music, food, beer tent, awards
We will also have a run out on Sat and trophies
Our attendance fee to cover raffle and trophies £4

Heres a bit of their blurb-

Graham
I have edited this post as I think we need to keep the event's in an orderly fashion
the Buck's Rally is not until July a bit away yet
beforehand We have the Scottish Bike show and the Yorkshire Rally at the end of May
I would appreciate it if you let me know what you plan's for the year ahead so I can co ordinate them

Rain or shine I'll be there. I'm 5 mins away so if you need any help setting things up or whatever...give me a shout mate. I'd be happy to photograph the whole thing too. :)

Graham
Just had a look at Wycombe Mag web site and it says it's £7 quid per day and £10 for the weekend.
Under 16s are free (if accompanied by an adult)
Hope is helps.

Hi Graham,

is there a dedicated area for Z1 owners?

Gary
