Scottish rally 2009

#1 PostAuthor: FER » Sun Nov 02, 2008 4:16 pm

The dates for the 2009 Scottish Z1OC rally are 7th,8th and 9th of august . The rally will be held at a pub next to St Marys loch in the Scottish borders . This should cut down on the mileage our southern members have to travel . Camping will be available .

It's at Tibbie Shiels Inn, half way between the A74 and the A7, the post code is TD7 5LH if you want to find it on multimap . The guy who runs it is a biker (Suzuki Katana) he caters for bike groups all the time throughout the year. There is plenty of space for camping, he has plenty of accomodation in the Inn and there's also a full size Teepee which will be handy for those who want to go native. Here's some pix

Hi Geoff, the prices, per night, are about £35 per head B&B, £12 for the bunk, camping £5. Alistair hopes to have more bunk space sorted out by next year so there should be accomodation for everyone. There's also camping in the Teepee, it has a fire in the middle of it so might reek a bit, it is an option though.

Just thought I'd remind everybody that the Scottish Z1OC rally is still going ahead on the 7th, 8th and 9th of August at Tibbie Sheils in the Scottish borders so put the date in your diary. As you can see from the previous photos it's a great location with some brilliant roads and scenery, I'll post more details in a week or so.
