A while ago there seemed to be some interest on the forum in running a Zed drag race day at Santa Pod, even if it was just crashing a rwyb, well, the dates are now up.
Santa Pod
Whos up for it? I know Andy Z1R will be, I could use some more track time, RWYB only requires a driving license and about ?15.00 per day.

Count me in if Padders lets me ride his, otherwise will come long and just help him put pick his parts of the track and put them in boxes. Any idea of a date?

coz you know it will go a lot quicker than both your Eddie Izzard and your Mary Shelly creation, and i dont think it would do your reputation any good when everybody sees you crying in public

Mornin' Colin, just looking for a Z1R-TC on there last night and spotted these for sale. The sad thing is the cost of shipping, import duty and VAT make it a non-starter most of the time.Nice to see what's on offer though!!

Hi Jack.....I'm just jealous cause my works net nanny doesn't allow access to ebay.....Jeeez just as well.....I'd be "busy" all day......lol

Z1R Turbo a rare beast indeed. Did someone not fit a turbo to a Rickman and cut the fairing to suit? Iain will have a pic of this for sure... Iain, Iain, come down off those sheep farms and find that pic.......

Saturday May 12th looks good as there will be plenty of other stuff going on too. Dates before May could be dampened by the weather. If there is enough interest it might be worth contacting Santa Pod. I would of thought we could organise a Zed rally/day, only difference being the chance to race quarter mile during the day, camping is free and the facilities are already in place, Santa Pod even has shower blocks now, Choosing a weekend alongside another event means bar, evening entertainment, food stalls are already organised.
