If the suns out it will be packed

Get there early if you don't want a long walk to the pub or nowhere to park - it gets bloody busy (unless its raining)

Won't be able to make it myself due to work.

Hi Chris, I went to this last year, good evening out. I'll look to be going on Monday but need to leave here early to get near the place as the weather looks good.

Apparently John McGuinness is going to be there
:D

Great night last night at Cassington, and as Chris said, a massive turnout. They were hoping for 10K bikes  don't know if that many came but the whole village was swamped.

It's very brave (and highly commendable) that such a small place should attempt to host this meeting. I only saw 4 police people there so it was all marshalled and controlled by volunteers.

Thanks for the guided ride out there Chris, a really nice run. As a special bonus I also got to chat with my hero John McGuinness, who made himself very approachable…Top Man.

Here are a few pics.

Is this Z900 a members bike?

How did you get your bike on the green? We rocked up at 5.30 and I tried to turn on to the green where it said "Classic Bikes" and was told to go park in the big field at the end of the village.

A 1986 UK model 1100 Slabbie in immaculate condition has got to be more classic than a lot that was on there. The chap marshalling seemed to take the view that if its not British it aint coming in. How do Hinckley Triumphs class as classic?

Rant over!

Perfect night out but didn't see Mr McGuiness. Some superb bikes and quite a few Z. Saw an 1100 ELR on the road in front the green, a 1000 ELR in the big field and quite a few Z1/900/1000. Kettles were very common. Place was swamped with them. Only 2 slabbies though!

We got there at about 5:15 and the guy in the vest waved us onto the green. He wasn't very impressed when my mate followed us in on his 1 year old KTM !

There's another bike night next Monday around Aylesbury way. Dunno if it gets the same sort of turn out as this though.

That will be Ludgershall Nr Bicester.
Just as packed but a smaller village so fewer bikes.

I prefer it to Cassington as its less sardine like.
