Last minute decision and me and my good lady took a ride down the A5 last night. Glad we did as it turned out to be a decent meet with a good turnout of bikes to suit all taste,s.
We were on my z1000st and I did see a couple of other zeds parked up including a very nice freshly restored z1 (1972/73 reg) in the brown and orange colours. Is it a members bike?
Also a mint z1000r elr came in, that was a bute too.Unfortunately I didnt get to chat to the owners but may be next time. The meet is on the first friday of every month throughout the summer., from about 6pm,, oh and the burger and chips was good too

I go to that regularly, it's every month all through the year,
not just summer, and there's regular bands play there,
free entry!

However, for the Harley haters among you on the forum;
the organisers ARE Harley riders...it's
organised by Dave Baringer and crew of Northants V-Twin,
and I know him well - he's a great bloke, he's got respect
for all bikers no matter what they ride, and same here.
