First visit of the year to The Plough at Cadsden

#1 PostAuthor: tedsonthezed » Thu Apr 18, 2013 10:18 pm

Hardly been out much on two wheels this year because of the weather, but as temperatures had risen to a tropical 10 degrees C, went over to the Plough at Cadsden last night for the first time this year. First time of the year for everybody else too, by the sound of it.

Wasn't on the zed, but nice to see a very clean Z900, but didn't get to talk to the owner.

Those of you in and around Bucks will know of this regular Wednesday evening informal gathering which was originally just British iron, but now you will always see some Japanese classics and some modern stuff. A nice excuse for a ride out and a beer.

As I won't be doing regular Sunday meets this year but often use this as a good end point for a ride in the week, I'll pop a post on here when planning to go over. Or PM me if you feel like meeting up on a nice Wednesday evening.

Oh yes, and Shiny Bike Night is 19th June this year. http://www.bbcmcc.freeuk.com/Events.htm
I thought it might not be held this year due to last year being such a success/road safety hazard, but nice to see that the pub still supports it.

A few zeds made it to Shiny Bike Night last year

Judges made some interesting decisions - my bike got an award and it was standing next to Mainekz's lovely example.

That's a nice ride out for me from here. I'll see if I can drag old "Baldylocks" over on his Shed as well. Wednesday's a good day as not many things clash, unlike at weekends. See you there!

Should be a nice evening down at the Plough this Wednesday. Pop over and I'll buy you a beer.

This Wednesday is Shiny Bike Night. Starts 7pm - I expect to be meeting up with Maine early as we got there about 7.45pm last year and it was already packed.

Hopefully the weather will have improved by then...

It's just not coming together for me this year.

Definitely be up for Cassington though.

A few piccies from Cadsden last night. There was a good mixture of machinery. Very impressed.
