Going to have a meet on the 15 Th July. It wont be at Willingham woods this time as I am trying something a bit different just as a once off , I'm going to have it at a biker friendly cafe Called Barneys but I,m going to call it a brunch meet as it does really good full English and it fairly cheap.
The cafe is just of the A180 at the junction with A 15 to the Humber Bridge following the A18 .
I will post a map shortly. its easy to get to for a good many of you and you will all like the place .
Hoping to see you all Ted

Ted - good to meet up the other day at Donington - bleeidn shame about the show though !
I will try and be at Barney's - but may be on the Kettle if I dont get the ongoing Zed sickness sorted ! Feck Feck Feck !
Not sure if this is of any interest to the lincoln posse, but the Lincoln Jap Classic Show is on again (Its held at the Suzuki dealers but any and all bikes are on show). I went last year and was amazed at the number of superb 70's / 80 's Jap classics on show: a few H1 & H2's., RD's. RGV's Kettles, CB750's CBX's etc etc although I think I only saw one Zed there (a Z1B). Loads of racing bikes from the era were on show too - it was a cracking afternoon, the sun shone and there must have been more than 500 people turned up. Hopefully this year will be as interesting.

It's not a bad little show I was there with Martin last year, he was on his GPZ 900, I was on my Z1300.

Ted, not sure if there is a "gathering" on Sunday - have some issues / probs at home - but might be ok (fingers crossed). But just checked Barney's Cafe web site for directions and noticed this worrying little bit of info:
Hours of Business
Open 6am-9pm Monday - Friday / 6am-2pm Saturday
and currently closed on Sundays.
Cheers Tim

Good point well made Tim
If I can be so bold Ted, I can recommend a visit to
Torksey Tea Rooms as a good meeting point.
It's on the A156 between Gainsborough and Lincoln, and although not being a usual 'biker haunt', the owners are very bike friendly Gold Wing riders. Nice outdoor seating area, and a very good cup of 'proper' coffee for hardly any more dosh than Willingham Woods

I had a call from Ted yesterday to confirm Barney's is open on Sundays so the original meet for the 15th is back on at Barney's.
He met Mark there yesterday and confirmed the opening times with the owner.
He will update when he gets back from Germany.
