Murph - I am touring in Scotland(Isle of Skye and Highlands) the week before the rally and was asking a little while ago if anyone is riding down from Scotland on the friday.I didnt get any meaningful replies, so I can time it to ride down with you(if you can put up with me on a Rex) - I would much prefer to have a co-rider.

Hi Murph, I'll be heading down on Friday. If there's no work that day I'm aiming on setting off early and heading down to the Lakes before turning east and onto the rally. Won't know exactly what time I'll be leaving but I'll see you there

Bill if your in the area you could overnight at mine at some point , i'm in Fife if that's any use to you.

Murph that sounds good will meet up with yourselfs on the Fri, arrange nearer the time, cant think where the Tesco is at the bridge, could it perhaps be the one before the bypass ? the Gyle methinks,(Hermiston Gate even) thats where we usually meet when heading down to Kelso, Bill same invite here, static caravan is on offer, (Coatbridge area) might suit if heading over from the west side then we could hook up with Murph and Co on friday, just an other option mate.

Hi z1b
Tesco's is on the south side off the bridge near the Dakota hotel , it's kinda hidden by the tree's as you come off the bridge.
If you were heading for the old A8000 from Fife direction it's on your right across from the shell station.

Murph - that would be fantastic. I was starting to look for Premier/Holiday/Travel Inn thingys in your area - with a view to arriving from Alness(30 miles north of Inverness) late on Thursday (17 May)afternoon . Will pm you in the next day or so with exact times and to get your addy.
Looks like being a good week: part of my redundancy dividend.
Lake district 11 - 13 May
Balloch 14 - May
Mallaig/Skye 15 - May and
Alness 16 May
Followed by Yorks Rally 18 -20 May
Then I am off to IOM TT for the whole of race week
Back for three weeks then off to Germany for the 40th Rally
See you soon
