Bucks/Berks Christmas meet up, 18th December

#1 PostAuthor: tedsonthezed » Sun Nov 06, 2011 11:16 am

Christmas is coming boys and girls.

Following on from the success of last year's Christmas meet, Guy and I are holding a lunchtime gathering at the Red Lyon at Hurley on Sunday 18th December. See www.redlyon.co.uk for directions.

Once again I've reserved the snug bar, so we can have a beer and a sandwich next to a nice log fire.

We have much to discuss, not least the programme for next year. My 2012 survey was very helpful in this respect, and I hope to be meeting up with the Kawasaki guys at the NEC in a couple of weeks time to see what, if anything, is happening about the 40th anniversary next year.

See you all noon onwards on the Sunday before Christmas!

You mean the weather could get worse than last year?

Admittedly, it was touch and go last year, but the determination by everybody to get through the snow was admirable.

I may well be putting feelers out for an additional night out and a curry in Aylesbury for those Bucks guys that can't make the Sunday lunchtime, though.

Thought I'd bump this up again - don't forget it boys and girls. Looks like I might be having a sore head from the night out in Aylesbury, but that's not going to stop me.

I've got a few goodies left over, so I thought we'd have a free raffle to start Christmas off early.

I'll give tickets out to anybody that goes and call the numbers about 1.30.

First I've got one of Kawasaki's very limited edition 'Racing Legends' posters. Beautiful quality and just crying out to be autographed at the next show.

I've also got one of the fine Z1 owners Club poster/planners that Gary and I produced this year. Start organising next year's diary over the holiday.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Just over a week away now. I'll being seeing you there.
Doubt I'll be on the bike though may be out on it the day before.
It's down at Debben's and I should be collecting it on the 17th, if not this weekend coming.
It's all back together after the encounter with the deer.
