I thought about going, but I was busy cutting my toe nails.
Bad timing, Jappen. As you know, I'm in Paris. I'd love to meet Bill. Always fun with the brits. Looking forward to Adrian is coming to Jondalen next year. He promised me that in Blackpool. He would come in his motorhome with the lash up strapped to the back of it. I swear !

This was quite an event.
95 bikes with 125 "guests" from all over europe - Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany and Britain. I had no idea of the affection that so many of the Norwegian lads have for the GB Club. The warmth of welcome I recieved was unbelievable and I was looked after every minute of my time in Norway.
These guys are serious about their Zs in a big way but never up themselves in any way. Straight or modded - it doesn't matter. They just love being on and around the bikes. This point was clearly indicated by the milages on the bikes - I saw several very early Z1s with 57,000kms on the clocks and several later bikes well past 80 and 90 ,000kms. The roads are generally well surfaced, empty and fast - like Cadwell. It is a joy to ride here.
They also know how to party...
I have taken several pictures which will be sent over shortly and I will try and put a decent article together for the Mag.
Finally - A thousand thanks to Jappen and Roger for their immense hospitality and kindness. These guys are the best...

That Z1000 is one fantastic looking bike, one of the nicest I have seen, love the black forks and engine complimented by the polished alloy,
Can we have some specs on the bike please

It belongs to a chap called Morton Berg - one of the nicest blokes you could wish to meet. I will get some specs and post a little later - I had the privilege of seeing his ZRX1200R(A6F) the same model and colour as mine - except brilliantly modded...again!!
His workshop is pristine - the best I have ever seen.

One of the Hs belongs to Jappen and the other(with original pipes) belongs to Roger. This won best unmodified thousand at the Rally.
