Classic Mechanics Dyno day

This from the Classic Mechanics website.
Classic Mechanics is running a dyno day on 23 January. This is your chance to find out not only how much power your bike is making but have the fuelling analysed by an expert to hopefully pinpoint areas of weak or rich running caused by worn carb components or aftermarket exhausts and filters. We’ve negotiated a very special discounted rate from Autocentre in Rushden (who are running the day) of just £10 per run.
And it’s also a chance to spend a few winter hours with (hopefully) a large bunch of like-minded 70s and 80s bike nuts. Drink tea, eat cake and listen to the sound of a load of great bikes on full throttle in an enclosed area.
We’ll be handing out pathetic (it’s the thought that counts) prizes and possibly even a small tin cup for the best performing bikes in a number of categories that we’ll make up on the day. And we’ll feature as many of the bikes that attend as we can in the mag. It all starts at 10.30am. Bruce has promised to bring our ‘People’s Project’ Kawasaki Z550 (see page 65) which means he’ll have to get it running by then.
Autocentre are at Unit 1A, Rectory Road, Rushden, Northants NN10 0AG. See you there.
