Well the sun really shined on us today, I cant remember a dry Bucks rally since 2003 at the Gate!
A fantastic turn out lads nice to see old and new faces. Hope you enjoyed the venue and facilities.
Heres a run down of the Awards
I have to say the standard of all the bikes was staggering and it was very difficult for us to vote. But here you are

Best Standard 900cc Ted Aves
Best Modified 900cc Alun Bauly
Best Standard 1000cc Nick Brock
Best Modified 1000cc Guy Martin
Well done

see you all plus more of you I hope next year!

only 4 x Z1000's and a Z1R. Wall to wall Z900's...........

Agree with Graham - the standard of bikes was very very good.

Sadly I had to work until 1.00 pm Saturday and then remembered I had volunteered to help my fellow Parish Councillors at the village fete. It`s volunteering to do things that make a community and that is why I say those that put themselves out to do things for our club deserve recognition. Grahams daughters unfortunate accident that left her injured goes to demonstrate that the effort he put in to organising this event deserves a special mention as service above and beyond the call of duty. Many others would have understandably been preoccupied.
That you Gary stepped in to help Graham also deserves recognition. I say again, be it village or club, it is the members efforts that make what others enjoy.

Chrisu phoned in the afternoon and said I should get down there sharpish in order to win a prize, but were the tables turned and I had camped all weekend only to see the prize given to a latecomer I would have been well pissed off.

I`m sure the winners all deserved their prizes as like has been said before, the standard of bikes in this club is high indeed.

Oh, and nice photies Gary :D . Just sorry I was otherwise engaged

Sorry to hear that mate, I hope you are not badly hurt and can get your bike back on the road in some way. I'm sure the club will help out where they can.

Hi Guys, Great day out at Bucks Rally/Bike Show.Good to meet you all and put some faces to those on the forum.Good to see great bikes being ridden, although weather was very kind to us.I hate polishing so rarely do wet miles! Thanks for the welcome you gave me and bloody brilliant to get an award for best modded 900 for a dirty bike that hasn't changed much in 8 years.Take care.

A Bucks Rally in fantastic weather. It was all very odd.

It was such a shame more couldnt have stayed for the evening as the weather held, and the beer and burgers were good.

Bledlow, Gary, and I flew the flag for the Z1OC , playing Name That Tune while supping furiously.

The band playing in the above picture were called Handle With Care I think. They did a lot of their own stuff - ok sort of. Out of the blue they did a really good cover of one of me all time favourites - Patti Smith Dancing Barefoot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUcwjcqstxc
They then immediately spoiled it by doing "I Think We're Alone Now"
I'm proud to say I couldnt remember the name of the singer. Bledlow - hang your head in shame for remembering it was Tiffany!! ( I wont sully this forum by posting a link to that )

Great weekend, and a big thanks to Bledlow and Gary.
