Getaway Funday. Horncastle, Lincs. 21st June 2009

#1 PostAuthor: Ed Z1-R » Wed Jun 10, 2009 9:46 am

Kiddies.
On the Skegness Run, we stopped at Horncastle for a breather. :hot

On seeing our bikes we were approached by a couple who happen to be organisers for an event in Horncastle to promote a charity Funday for children/adults with learning disabilities.
They asked and invited the Z1OC would we be willing to show our bikes at the pub on the event day.
Naturally we took them up on their offer.

So kiddies im looking for volunteers to come along and display thier ZedZ.
Anybody else interested in attending.

The event is on 21st June and starts at 3pm. I also appreciate that this coincides with Fathers Day,and what a good way to enjoy it with the clan.

We would have to arrive an hour or so earlier to park the bikes up and hoist up a club banner.

Oh and have a good time. :lon

N.B.Its at the Bull Hotel,Horncastle.

Ed. Great thing to get involved with.

Make sure the local press know all about it and if you have more than one local paper, tell one that the other is coming :D

I`ll be there as I work with people with learning disabilities and they really dont get much money so anything that will help is worth my attendance.......even if I do have to ride a bike that aint mine!!! :D
Ride.....ya know you want to......
