Couple of suggestions of places to visit
Louis.de Gigastore in Dortmund, Louis.de is one of Germanys M&P stores. (we went to polo last time but that isn't as well stocked as Louis)
https://www.louis-moto.co.uk/service/fi ... rtmund/103
could do this on the way there
and Cafe Hubraum in Solingen, Wuppertal. This is a german bikers cafe in a very bueatiful area. Usually loads of interesting bikes there on a weekend

Anyone know what the legal min is of stuff to take on this trip ie high viz, spare bulbs, GB sign etc.keep seeing that you have to have reflective sticker on your lid, is this really true. Don't fancy sticking them to my Simpson. Is there a fine if you don't?

I went to this last year and carried
spare bulbs as a just in case
Fitted a GB sticker
Plugs and plug spanner and a few spanners / screwdrivers

I also had a complete set of cables fitted the month before the rally, the clutch cable snapped just as we arrived, (thanks to Hutch for having a spare I could use)

As for helmet sticker I have never heard of this used one before
Hi Vis vest I believe, that is only for France

Cheers

Bulbs, GB designation, access to a hi viz at least…

Insurance doc, log book, mot certificate - all originals not copies. That's the legal requirements.

We're only in France for 20 minutes and the cops there have bigger concerns than a group of middle aged bikers. Mind you if they see the opportunity to fleece €150 per offence they may be arsey.
