Cheers Becks, but probably cheaper to try Lidl's (ta Kev) in what the fuel would cost  that way I can guff to my hearts content

Bucks Rally rideout and visit to Chinnor Bike Show

#65 PostAuthor: MaineKZ » Mon Jun 18, 2007 9:24 pm

I've just about got the rideout route sussed - should be about 1hr 15 mins - can shorten if it's pissing down  It'll be mainly nice smooth roads with loads of twisties so check those tyre pressures and make sure there's enough meat left on yer knee sliders!
It'll be about 40 miles so please arrive with full-ish tanks - fuel stops on the rideout are a bit dull. Aiming to leave the Peacock aroung 11.30.
As you know, the plan is to call in to the Chinnor Bike Day for lunch and a bit of posing. I made contact with Chris the organiser from Wycombe MAG and he's going to look into putting a show area aside for the Zeds - sounds suitably respectful! :D
Usual day ticket for the Bike Day cost 4 quid. I could try for a group discount but as the event supports the Air Ambulance I reckon haggling them down might be a bit churlish? Any opinions?...

?4.00 sounds fair, I'm a bit 'flush' at the moment, in the way of a tenner, coz Lidl had sold out of tents
