Tonto wrote:Ian, just looked at the route and it make sense for me to meet the Zed cavalcade on route: probably when you join the A16 at Louth.
That's assuming I ever get my fecking Zed's brakes fixed
Cheers Tim

Andy, there is a lay-by on the A16 (on the left about 2 miles around), that the bikes must go past on the way to the Skeggy roundabout: I intend joining on the back of the convoy as they sail past.

Unless its pi55ing it down, or my weekend gets royally screwed by other factors (I have a pre commitment that morning), I plan on being in the lay-by from about 1.15 - 1.20 to coincide with planned departure from the Pub.

Cheers Tim

Sorry mate cannot make it

Cannot get a bike boot on my left foot.

On Monday I was backing the bike up in a carpark at Hornsea when I slipped on some gravel, the bike when over a the gear lever and frame tube landed on my foot.

The phrase "you ave it son, I'll play it" never entered my head.

Good job it was the VFR because if it had been the 1300, I think something would have snapped.

Sorry to hear of your incidents Gavin and Andy get better soon guys.

Just did the run this afternoon in the car with Ted just to double check the route.

Will be arriving at Skeggy around 2pm.

The bike free carpark is left at the roundabout with the clock tower in the middle towards the sea front.

Ian to quote Victor Meldrew - "I don't believe it": but my Zed had a final twist for me. Sometimes I know that bike hates me !
Having finally fitted new discs, calipers, splitter etc - I was shafted today, courtesy of Hel Performance Brakes, as the Z1000 A2 brake hose set provided does not fit - totally totally pi55ed off with it all and sadly cant make tomorrow.

I did not really fancy turning up on the V4R; sort of defeats the Zedness of the ride out. Sorry we seem to be falling like flies at the minute !

Looks like being a sunny day for you - enjoy the day
