This is a very friendly pub with good food at very reasonable prices. Us southern lot all had the Sunday roast which was large and well cooked. Always an advantage in my book and what was missing from the old venue.
Bunny and I met up at mine and rode up to MK to Paul McEleney`s house. He was just tidying up after having painted his wheels last weekend so with adjustments done and tea drunk, we set off into the freezing cold again. S`funny but 9.30 on Saturday was scorchio but Sunday the air was very cold. We stopped off at Jacks Hill Cafe just North of Towcester to warm up a bit. There was a large Brit bike meet and the usual assortment of others.
This made me chuckle.

We pressed on and Paul Mc needed to stop for a loose bolt but after a two hour journey arrived at the Kings Head. The only issue for me is the route which is A5 all the way. Fast and straight dual and single carriageway it is not the most interesting.
We will probably do Guys meet soon enough though which for us is a fantastic ride along the old Thames side towns of Marlow and Henley.
Well done Karen. I bet most Reps would be happy with such a large turn out.
See you all at the Ace.
