Steve, if you mean ON the Harley you got no chance of me riding pillion

I'm more likely to go up on Sunday to be honest but not decided yet. Either way, I'll be driving up in the big boy's car

I am going to try and get down for Sunday, are there usually traffic jams up to the site, and what time does it start winding down?

Tommy, it's usually Saturday evening. Speak to Jerry.

Met a few new faces today Ginger Bear PJ Rob Pete Duanne plus the usual suspects. Never enough time to have a good chat with everyone. Great weather, spent too much, now knackered. Glass of wine in order I think.

Thanks to all in the club who put together a great stand as always a credit to the club.

Thanks also to Paul D for fetching the frame over and Hobbo for offering to fetch it back up North. Dynodave for fetching the GSXR front end and Ginger Bear for fetching the frame bracing kit. Last but not least thanks to all the stall holders for relieving me of all my money!!!!

ps as always Mick fell asleep on the way back leaving me to while away the hours listening to the football results.

Excellent day out. Mikey & family turned up at mine just before 8.00am. We set off soon after.
Only just got on to the M5 & passed a silver Golf (at speed) only to see the driver flashing & waving. (I knew I'd seen that grin somewhere before) At first I thought I'd pissed him off, then I reconised PIGGY.
For some reason, I thought he would tuck in behind & slipstream me to save a bit of fuel.......... but no....... he couldn't keep up. :D

Had a good drive to the show,no real hold up's at all. :D

Once inside we made a bee-line to the Z1OC stand. Two reasons.... Mikey had some polishing to unload & I had some ebay goods for Mr Padders.

I have not even been a member for a year yet, but the welcome is always a good one from all members...... North and South.

Met for the first time today;
Padders.... Thanks for the ££££.
PJ... sorry the conversation was short... but interesting all the same.
TED1R...You're a very welcoming geezer.
Jerry.... we didn't really speak, but I thought you'd be a fat old grunter.... how wrong was I? (sorry no offence meant)
Hutch... Mr painter
Hobbo... No sorry, met you before (Ace cafe I presume):no
Chris NI... Good to see you in the flesh, after several phone conversations. Will that project ever be finished :?
Phil Churchett... A true gent. a bedrock of this club.

There are more I know, but after eight bottles of Stella, I have now cracked open my second bottle of wine :D So I feel I need to post 'this post' before I expire (for today at least)
:hoo
