They were for sale on the German Z1OC site - think they still are??

Worth a shot... click on the name and it gives you an email link

They were for sale on the stall at the rally - but I bought the badges

It would have been impossible to pick a concensus bike. That one wasn't the one I'd have picked either but it doesn't really matter there were hundreds of Zeds and undoubtedly some I didn't even see. As chris says it was a good idea for the club to contribute and the winner was suitably honoured so that was good.

Well what a way to lose my club virginity!
Thrown in the deep end with a five day trip to Germany with a bunch of Northerners !! [not you Piggy]

I would like to say the 1100 never missed a beat, but it fouled her plugs on the way out because of running a bit rich, which was sorted by taking the air filter out.
We were truly blessed with the weather over the weekend, it could have been a lot worse, say like on the run home on Sunday.

It was great to meet to meet lots of new people in the club. The high point for me had to be Trev's dancing on Friday night to the AC/DC tribute band, the low point was stepping out of the shower and seeing Hobbo in all his naked glory, but I did manage to keep me breakfast down.

Great memories, great bikes, great pictures Keith, see you all soon I hope.

Great weekend. Great company. Thanks to Mark for the navigation. Good to put faces to names. Steve thanks for the duck tape. C"£p waterproof covers on paniers. Simon, that z900 tank is definitely bigger than the Z1. Longest trip by far that I have done on any bike let alone a 38 year old one. She didn't miss a beat. Pics from the Hotel in Holland should be good. 6'' heals. Steve Mamma San fancied you not me.

Thanks Paul. Much appreciated.

What was also a really pleasing thing for me was that Gunther from Emlicheim won a trophy. It`s the same Gunther that Bunny beat in Hannover 2009 with the Schontse Zed award.

I agree with sanderz, that black turbo looks bloody lovely, as do many of the other 'personalised' zeds.

Also like to state my admiration and respect to everyone from the club who made the effort to ride over to Germany in some pretty foul weather.

The owner was full of attitude - not only is the cartoon on the seat hump a parody of football rivalries( only this refers to "new Kawas"), the swing arm is full of profanities too....
