And if you are going through France, you now need to carry two (2) self test breatherlizers at all times, you also need a high vis and reflective strips on your lid.

Travelling in Europe Top Tips

Yu'll need to take your vehicle log book and driving licence with you
I always carry docs in a water proof clear wallet and make photocopies of everything that I keep elsewhere when travelling abroad
Also E111 card

Check your breakdown cover covers you for punctures too. I've heard some companies won't cover your bike if you get a puncture abroad

Oh and stick a Post It note on your tank or clocks to remind you to travel on the right side of the road!

If I have the bike finished and can get a few days off from work, I'll definitely try to come, would be a nice mini-vacation and lots of fun I think.

It's a bit of a long ride for me but I'll manage somehow. :wink:

In MCN this week advice section QUESTION " Whats needed driving through France ",Answer "from July require 1 single use breathalyser kit , until November police will warn you then after 11e on spot fine , hi viz due to come in Jan 1 2013" So those going in July through France will not need to have these :roll:
