Thanx for the kind words - really helps take the edge off a shit situation. I spent most of the night replaying what happened and I'm still none the wiser. The front brake did feel very odd after the spill and needed pumping up, but I suppose it might have got some air in it when she was on her side. I have been wondering if the non-working ABS might have done something with it's servo to upset stuff. Not sure how but Im defo going to take all that crap out of circuit and just revert to a proper non-fangled system. Could it have been just a mega gust of wind? Something slippery on the road? It reminded me a bit of the ride back from the Yorks rally when in very similar, but less windy conditions both Mikey and myself lost our back ends in the same spot for no apparent reason.

Hey Ralph sorry to hear about your spill mate,on a lighter note the lad I was with at caLstock, riding the new busa, also had a spill we were walking back to the tent in the overflow field after finishing our 8 pints I was talking to him one minuete the next he was swimming in the drainage ditch he reckons there was about three foot of water at the deep end! Being proper bikers we only took the clothes we rode down in and he had to put them back on in the morning to ride back, although I started off dry by plymouth I was pissed wet through. The show was good though and it was nice to meet taffus and steve.
cheers Rimmer

The weather was sooo shite I only took a couple of token pix.

Mark the Beer Sponge Taffus & Steve Bowdler.
It would be an interesting meeting of beer drinking giants to see Geoff Meager and Taffus square up at the bar - the landlord could book his hols in the Bahamas
