Also told today of some poor bugger being quoted £200+ to get recovered on a trike from Knutsford to Lancaster (no more than 60 miles).

Back to the drawing board then, that I'll teach me to say how well it was running

Sadly no, the conversation came up with the recovery bloke. He'd stopped at Knutsford services for diesel on the way home from Derby when this bloke came running over and asked if he wanted some beer money to take this trike to Lancaster (about a mile off the M6).

He has to put all jobs through the company, who then quoted £100 to get him home, he nearly snatched his hand off as the quote off the other company was well over £200

Furness Car and Commercial, just find out which of your trike riding friends had a lift home with them.

it sounds like a good mate off mine called mick. He lives about 1 mile from jct34 on main rd into lancaster. Its a reliant engined thing. Nice lad but poor taste in transport. wait till i see him.
