Ted - You may not be able to wait, but I can.
Put new clutch cable and braided steel brake lines on the old girl 6 weeks ago(done the footrest stud at the same time). Off to Poland for a month - got back this week and gave her a blast.
Went in the garage this morning to find a brake fluid puddle on the floor. The combination of the new brake fluid and the resistance of the new lines has ruptured the seal on the master cylinder rod. Now its a race against time to get the seal kit ordered, arrive on tuesday, fit on wednesday night after work and pray it holds together for Friday.
