Kent Meet

#5 PostAuthor: greenlaningxt » Sun May 03, 2009 8:43 pm

Baza.

Just for info!

The VMJC have changed their day in the month to same as the Kent Zed night.

They meet in West Kingdown, think you might loose a few Zeds to their meeting.

Mind you everytime (bar one) we were the only zeds at the Blue Belland the VJMC seem to get a few.

Oh well looks like every one will be going to the vJmc do then !
But for those wanting to meet up the administrator has set us up a Kent group ... See under Area Groups ... so any one wanting to be added to that group please pm me and I will add your details to a mailing list and contact you when things are going on...
To be honest I have had very little response on here and what I have had has been mostly negative... If people don't want to meet so be it, I will not waste one of the four nights that I get off each month and will ride better roads locally to me.
last month I asked if anyone had any ideas for a run later in the year there was no response ! I have been criticised by the previous Kent area rep (who did f**k all for a couple of years after spitting his dummy out) for not holding a rally, when last year unless it was bright sunshine and no chance of rain less than a handful turned up to an evening meet ...
My point in this rambling is that any group is only as strong as its members if people want to meet let me know. If anyone wants to go on a run or wants to meet up at another time and place, I may not be able to go but may be able to put you in touch with them that do.
How many Kent Z1oc went on the may day run ? who said any thing on here ?

Regards

Bazza

Not having a go at you, I turned up quite a few times last year on the Harris, with the only other person on a Z and that was the person who came with me.

I would rather come down to Paddock wood, can be a good ride, the reason I ride a bike is to ride it, not go a couple of miles and sit in a Pub.

So the more that go to the Kent Z night the better.

I might even come, rather than the VJMC which the other person who normaly comes will be going to.

I reackon we could do BOTH but Hey I must be plain weird!!!!!!

By the way not sure if the Harris really counts in this club as a Z, was at the ACE and every other Z had its picture taken but not the Harris.

Yours faithfully NOT BITTER Greenlaning

Greenlaning, my previous post was not aimed at you two either as I know that you attended the BB a lot last year.. It's just that I get a bit miffed with the apathy in what was a large group and feel that peeps are complaining that there's nothing going on and yet they are watching eastenders... I am a union rep at work and yesterday some of the fellas on the other shift were complaining that the union had no teeth I pointed out that they were the unions teeth, it's sort of the same thing ... .I Need a reason to ride these days as otherwise work will consume my whole life so same as you would prefer to ride than sit around on the odd occasion that I get out...

There should be a couple of new fellas there tomorrow so you never know might be more than two zeds.

BTW your arris is a proper Zed, but I Might just be weird an all...

Bazza. Love to pop down and support you but midweek is awkward. No Eastenders on Wed by the way !

Maybe you will have some kind of weekend thing going on in the near future.

You Rep guys put in lots of hard work and we owe it to you all to support your efforts.

Hope we can meet up in the near future :D

Cheers Chris (shows I dont do telly) It will be 18 months before I can plan my weekends as you know from Brighton last year I cant commit till the day (wish I had paid attention at school and I wouldn't be workin like a dog now).
Most reps do put in a lot of hard work effort for the club I simply just don't have the time but do what I can.
Thanks for support.
