I've met at your venue before with the VJMC and have recently joined this group having just realised my dream of finally getting a Z1! So looking forward to the November meet and hopefully seeing a few Z's! :D

Well it did stay dry although rather on the chilly side. It was nice to meet a few members although it will take me some time to put faces to user names.
Nice to meet everyone today anyway.
Nearly went on my Z1B but thought a bit risky if weather turned. Then felt guilty when I was only coming from Tamworth and a chap had ridden down from Manchester on his Z1R.
Apparently this was a better turnout than most of the summer meets!
Was just going to attach photo but looks like I can't for some reason!

Regards,
Roger :)Image

Mids Meet

#73 PostAuthor: PJ » Tue Dec 02, 2008 4:37 pm

Well what can I say, what a fabulous turn out, with help from our northern and southern friends, Ian from scotland, Hobbo from Hull, Keith rode down on his Z1r all the way from Bury - sat on the radiator, had copious volumes of hot coffee, helped mark from dudley get his Z1B running on four cylinders(nice yellow brake splitter) then wrapped himself in bubble wrap and rode all the way back again (brave chap), Stephen from Canvey Island - and all the local guys as well. A big well done to Ed, Mark, keith, Al and simon (I hope I got all the names right) for coming on their bikes, it was bloody cold.

There must have been fifteen people in all,

Great to see you all again guys, have a great xmas and look forward to seeing you in march, if not before,
