South West 1st Meeting !!!!!

#1 PostAuthor: RALPHARAMA » Mon Jun 16, 2008 5:16 pm

I have searched high and low for a suitable venue and think I have found it :D

The venue is run by Bikers for Bikers. Just had a long chat with Sandie. the landlady, and she is well cool :D They have proper pub grub and even have a paddock for camping and B&Bs locally for folk like myself that don't do camping :D

The first meeting is Sunday 13th July at 12.00

The Venue is The Canal Inn, Wrantage near Taunton. TA3 6DF for yer Sat Nav

This should be a fair ride for everyone. I am aware that we have folk in Southampton, Portsmouth, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall and this seems pretty central.

I have it in mind to see if we can't have a bit of a rally at the end of the summer, perhaps early September. Possibly 6th-7th?

Could I please have some feedback on both the 1st meeting and also the rally. [/b]

Ralph,
Sorry forgot the rally feedback.
Rally yes great news 7th Sunday seems good but 8th Mon ??
Either is good for me but a weekend day seems more sensible.

Ralph,
Pigford is right, 9th Aug was arranged. I was hoping that it could be changed to the 10th. The fooball fixtures are out and Plymouth Argyle are home to Wolves on the 9th.

Sorry but I have split loyalties.
