I'll be carrying my CO2 fire extinguigher with me ,
i don't want any of these bikes bursting into flames around me
As above surely an extinguisher on each stand will suffice .

Jeez the place sounds like a potential death trap, gonna rip up me tickets right now and stay at home wrapped in a duvet with me skid lid on, I strongly advise everyone to do the same - bloody motorbikes, they're the devils creation!

Had all this crap at shows before, no-one ever checks, they've probably just employed a new, keen, H&S manager!! Just as a side note, when we do Stafford, all bikes are insured through CN show insurance.

Just got back from my first visit to the Stafford show and I must say that I was suitably impressed :D Loads to see and look around and plenty of great bikes on display including the Z1OC stand. I even bought a pair of gloves from one of the many trade stands........

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Stafford show today, and meeting Z1OC members at the club stand in real life was awesome to say the least!

Aren't we all more civilised when meeting in real life

The bikes on display in the Z1OC stand were stunning.

Paul Whitehouse's Pro-Stock style Road legal drag Zed
was amazing, the metal flake in the dark diamond green Z900 A4
style paint and decals by Flying Tiger has to be seen, anyone who is anyone would be impressed, I think.

The engineering on Stu's (z1000puddin) 'Green Meanie'
was brilliant, loved it Stu!

Garry L's standard Z1000A1 in showroom condition, was
impeccable. The '77 tax disc completed the perfection to
evoke the period of the bike too I thought to meself.

All the Zeds on display there were fantastic, the above
3 were just my fave's, and massive credit to all the
top guys and the members that take their bikes there to
display to make it all possible.

Thanks :up

Kind regards,

~Jay.

Really proud and honoured to have been presented with the Phil Churchett award this year from the Owners Club at the Stafford bike show. It was the first time that I'd exhibited the bike and to be chosen to receive this award was the icing on the cake of what was a brilliant weekend.

There were some brilliant bikes on the stand...star of the show for me was Big Fluffs Silver Saxon...it was great to read the project book, on display with the bike, that shows just how much time and devotion Will has put into such an iconic bike...nice one mate.

It was great to meet so many members and put faces to names....Jerry and the stalwart club members crew that organise and set up the stand deserve medals....a great bunch of guys that, having watched them take down the stand on Sunday evening, work like a well drilled military unit ! :)

A word of warning to anyone that may be planning to build a long wheelbase project bike....allow at least 2 hours to try to get it in the back of a van !!!!

Roll on Stafford 2015. :)

Nice one Paul well deserved for the engineering in the bike plus the superb paintwork by Simon. It was a pleasure to spend ten minutes on Sat just looking around the bike.

A very, very high standard of Zeds being shown on the stand - all worthy winners in there own right.
Credit to those who put the time and effort into putting the Z1OC stand up (and taking it down) once again you did a sterling job :bow
