Z1OC Meet at Cadwell's 80th Anniversary?

#1 PostAuthor: z1rtc » Thu Mar 06, 2014 11:25 pm

Cadwell Park celebrates its 80th Anniversary this year with a 3 day motorcycling festival over 1st-3rd August;

1st Aug: Classic Bike Burn Up
2nd Aug: Practical Sportsbikes trackday
3rd Aug: Race meeting with Auto66:

A number of Z1OC members are already booked into the trackdays with us (Classic Bike Trackdays), but members not wanting to get on track are welcome to come along, put on a display of bikes, camp over , have a BBQ, a few beers and be a part of the whole shebang!

- It's free to get in on Friday & Saturday
- Friday track action (Burn Up) until 8pm
- Saturday (PS trackday) until 5pm, then Auto66 testing until 8pm
- Watch the action on track and in the paddock - will includes some special displays for Cadwell's 80th on Saturday
- Get on track in a 2 lap club parade for 40 bikes during Friday lunchtime (free; just let me have your name and bike)
- Live band on Friday night (Hi Rollers - back by popular demand!)
- Bar and restaurant open Friday and Saturday night
- Special on track demo during Saturday lunchtime with celeb riders
- More live entertainment on Saturday evening (Cadwell to confirm details)
- Camp over have a BBQ, a few beers and chill out

Camping is also free if you come with someone booked into ride on Friday or Saturday or £10pp if you don't - and that's the only cost unless you want to watch the racing on Sunday! Oh, and buy a few beers in the bar!!

Sunday race meet includes King of Cadwell - here are all the details: http://www.cadwellpark.co.uk/calendar/2 ... to-66.aspx

Gonna be a cracking 3 days :)

I'll help with the gazebo so long as its not one that fits to the side of a camper van.

Great couple of days and it was great to meet up with the all the guys,
Those that were riding,

ROBW
ZORDED (See his you tube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILQmwcqcvAg)
Martinz1000r
Brian (skinny tyred fast as f£$%*)

and good to see familiar faces like Marlin and zed1015 there to.

An excellent weekend organised by the Classic bike trackdays lads (Rob and Darin) all credit to them and they even arranged the biblical rain storms after my last session.

Hopefully there will be more next year!!
