Hi Iain,

Best of luck with your meeting. I hope the weather is kind and you get a great turn out.

Looks like Nigel Farage might be a no show for this one though

Called into the cafe today while out for a cycle. I happened to be wearing my Club hoodie and the owner mentioned you where headed there tomorrow. I'm tied up tomorrow so can't make it but will try hard to support future events.

Forecast looking ok for the area

Have a good one guys

Some how I don't think we'll be seeing much of Nigel F up here for a while....

Thanks for the comments guys, hoping a wee bit of sun for tomorrow and a few Zed heads.

There is another meeting in the pipeline, near the end of July somewhere just East of Stirling. I'll post details next week after I talk to the Landlord.
Got the Rex, just the Kat to get now...

The meet up at the Glen Cafe went well, although I was a bit late due to the Rex playing up  . We had a few visitors from South of the Border, Hobbo and Sandie, Keith on his new W800 , and Steve tagging along with him on his Z1B. In total there were 12 people there, which I thought for the first meet was good. It was good to meet some of the Scottish members, some I have only talked to on the site. Thanks

Yup, was a great day and a very good start to Iain's stint as Scottish Rep especially considering the crap weather at the start of the day, nice to catch up with folk for a chat. Well done to Keith, Stevie, Hobbo & Sandie for travelling so far for the meet (although there was a prize at the end of it Hobbo, that's a real nice Rex you got there;-) ) I'll post some pix later.

Iain, thanks for putting this on, the breakfast was worth the trip which was very slowwww due to Keith resorting to a 1960s rocker type thingy.....all the same it was good to meet some more club members. One other thing, just sack the midges

Thunder Cloud

#30 PostAuthor: StephenW » Mon May 20, 2013 4:07 pm

I thought every member was aware of Ian's nick name, Chief Thunder Cloud.
It always rains when Ian's around.
Great Pictures and good time had by all.
Bit far for me to attend for just one day.
