Mark,
I have been told they now have 2 entrances after the last jam up 2 years ago, I think all the locals complained, and I don't blame them :)

Chris

Chris I think I'm going to try a different route this year so I don't have to come through Shepton itself. Me and the boy are going on Sunday so it looks like we will miss you all, he's keen to try and get some more bits for his project and spend my money

Had an early start this year, to avoid the traffic & was there 45 minutes before the gates opened.

Met Piggy outside & had a little wonder round. Piggy found this little Raleigh (his first ever bike apparently )

Met up with Chris (Saab9002) shortly after & had a leisurely bimble round, then we found Nick W on the VJMC stand & had a good chat about this years new Japfest show.

Then it was outside for a bit of fodder........

Here's Piggy, chomping down on his "Larry the Lamb" burger, courtesy of your's truly. :bla

Show was pretty average in my opinion & I left wondering why I keep going every year,

Good to catch up with a couple of old faces though. :up

We came up from Devon as a party of 8 in two vans. Good show with a wide range of bikes.

I did look out for any familiar faces but did not see anyone.

Steve, I wonder the same thing, it has been disappointing for the last few years and this years auto-jumble was somewhat lacking.
I did keep an eye out for you and Mark.
We arrived at 0845hrs and straight in to park up round the back on the hard standing. We walked out to the burger van in the layby on the road and had a cup of tea and walked back in to queue for half an hour.
Bought nothing as there was nothing, and only half a dozen Kawasakis to look at.
I'm going to leave it for next year but I did like Netley Marsh and will keep a look out for auto-jumbles at Sammy Millers.

Cheers
Nigel

CB and myself keeping asking ourselves every year why we pay a tenner each year to see the same old exhibits. There nowt in the auto jumble worth a light in any year we've ever been, so I think this year we'll keep our money and look forward to seeing all our zeddists friends at the Ace :D

T'was good to blow a few cobwebs off and have a free burger (GB) & coffee (CJ-Saab).... but the show was lacking compared with previous years (didn't go last year) :|

Anyhow - good to see the same old suspects & get out on 2-wheels

Yes it was a bit of a laugh despite the lack of anything in the "autojumble"
I don't think I'll bother next year :(

It was good to meet some of you and thankyou for taking the time and trouble to drop by the stand, i always love a good natter.

If it wasn't for the fact that this is a local big show and therefore an oppertunity to promote our section and club i don't think i would bother going, certainly not every year, it's same o same o.

Because of this and the lack of Japanese bikes and bringing in new blood so to speak, is one of the major reasons that we are putting on the Japfest.

I know some of you cannot make the Japfest but if you do, come and say hello, always nice to meet fellow enthusiasts, and thanks again for the pleasure of meeting you.

I went with my boy on Sunday and yes I think its the same bikes every year but I still enjoy looking at everything thats been polished up over the early winter months for the show. Some nice Kwak triples and a couple of Z's.

Met Mikey for the first time whilst waundering around as he noticed my Z1 Owners Club jacket.
