Going thru' centre of Yeovil, got onto a roundabout and some dozy young girl shot out in front of me & knocked me off me Trumpet

Minimal damage to me ... just a bruised left foot & bit of a sore arm where I dented her Peugeot 206.....

Bike has a dented tank, buckled front wheel, bent footrest (where me foot got squashed) and broken clutch lever.

Still managed to get me home the last few miles

And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
Really bad luck mate - glad you're ok with nothing broken
Sounds like the trumpet came off worse
but should live again?
Managed to pop down myself yesterday - there was a decent showing for the ride out - vduk picked a good route - which included some nice twisty roads and a small piece of "off-roading"
thanks to his sat-nav
his system of markng the route with front riders who then joined the back, worked well and no one was lost.
I'm sure those that have stayed all weekend will be on soon with some photos and tales of a messy evening?

Piggy, get well soon, BTW, I did not slag you off, just missed meeting up with you.
AND..... A big thanks to Ralph and Marian, great rally, I really enjoyed meeting up with friends old and new, plus the band played well. It did get a bit cold later on.
Thanks again, great ride home from Somerset via the cotswolds, even missed the rain, although some roads were wet and greasy.
All the best
