Guys. This was a last minute decision by me to get a trophy to give to a worthy winner at the rally. In fact I picked the trophy up 2 days before we left for Germany. I spoke to as many people I could about it but in all honesty there was so much going on I didn`t get to speak to everyone, on any subject let alone as to voting.
The general consensus amongst those I did speak to was that Wasten`s bike was most worthy but this was not a unanimous decision. It was not my decision either but I didn`t complain and felt it was a very worthy winner.

Wasten, and the other rally attendees were very pleased with the choice and Bill said that Wasten thanked him profusely and was very proud.
This was the whole point of giving an award as I felt that thanking our hosts for not just this but the other rallies we have attended was as important as anything. I have to say it went down well.

I stood up on the stage and presented it in German and also gained a round of appreciative applause from everyone for the hard work by Peter and the rest of the crew in organising this huge event.

I am sorry if anyone feels left out.

Here is Wasten and his winning bike.

On the German Forum there is a posting from a name "Der Harzer" there is a photobook. It shows on the first page a sew on patch.

Did anyone see these for sale. I have emailed Peter K asking if they are still available.
