Nice one Phil,

As usual. Weather cooled it down a bit but still good. Like the aero club, really interesting. See you at SW.

Well done Mr & Mrs Hobbo,
Nice welcome and a good ride out through some cracking roads.

Some real nice bikes on show, and some really "CLEAN" ones.

Enjoyed the stop over at the aerodrome.

I ended up with an 801 mile round trip, (Not as hard core as Murph / Alan) As my bike was trailered there & back, but well worth it all the same.

Enjoyed the run and the meet thanks again, sun came out in scotland on the way home, makes all the difference, :)
Best run in recent years, Faro 2,500 miles, roads to die for. Applecross (NW 500) also awesome roads, current bikes, Z1, GPZ1100, ZRX1100, HD Fat bob.

Couple of pictures from my brief visit to Yorks - I travelled down with the Scots lads, after staying at Murphs for the night. The hospitality and the crack was brilliant and those boys are the best to ride with. Pity my limitations showed up quite clearly....

The visit to the rally was on the back of a 1300 mile tour of the Highlands and Islands( on my Rex), plus 200 to Yorks and another 230 home on Saturday. I will post some pictures of that on "out and about" tomorrow

In the meantime - lunchtime south of Jedburgh

Then a warm up in Squires in the evening

Image

Ian has to effect some repairs to a burst top hose( it gave up at a decent speed in the outside lane of the A1M on Friday afternoon) the next day - he fixed it on the side of the road using a crisp packet and it worked.... respect to this man

Getting ready for the ride out

The cleanest bike of the day

Image

Not like mine which again attracted the graffitti artists( BunnysZ last year...) At least Hobbo burnt his finger doing it

Many thanks to all who helped me both before the Rally, especially Murph whose hospitality is the warmest even on the coldest of Highland days( It was 3C and pouring when I turned up) and during the Rally, bringing parts and bits and pieces for my restoration. As ever its what makes this club so good.

I arrived down Saturday morning, put the tent up, then out for the run to the Airfield. Had a couple beers and caught up with a few people, all in good company and a great weekend. I'll post some pics later.... just to prove it wasn't all rain and cold, pic from Sunday mid day

Congrats to Hobbo for a fantastic weekend. CB and myself had a cracking time and a brilliant ride home. When are you going to post the dates for next year - so we can book our room with Ross! Maybe she'll have married Ted by then and we'll get a club discount :D Think she was rather taken by the new tat
