Tickets

#122 PostAuthor: z900dave » Tue Jan 17, 2012 5:42 pm

Hi, could anybody tell me where to get the tickets for the rally. I'm hoping to get over for this. But before I book the Hull ferry I wanted to make sure I could still get into the rally. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Dave

Thanks for the reply tlc. I'll book the ferry. I'm looking at getting the ferry on the 5th docking on the Fri morning. I'm just finishing off my rebuild, should be back on the road in Feb so looking forward to attending a few meets. 👍

The more I think about it . . . the more I get embarressed, not only for myself, but for the hundreds of others that went along and celebrated 30 years of the Z1 at Monthlery in 2003, seemingly a YEAR too late! . . . and it gets worse! We all celebrated the 30th year of the H2 in 2002 . . . . and were planning on doing it again for the 40th THIS year - How stupid are we ? Apparently, we should have celebrated 40 Years of the H2 LAST YEAR . . . when it was first built . .

There is no entry fee

chris,

if i understood correct, there is an entry fee of 10.- euros for daily visitors and 25.- euros for the weekend. this is because the rally will be organised by a big event manager not by any zed club. :(

i hope i´m incorrect and i´m very shamed about that but it looks like the event manager makes his profit with the entry fees to protect a cash desaster with all the beer baggy packers.

roll on!

Hi Amir. Perhaps Peter K can clarify this.

You may well be correct and if I have made a mistake then I apologise. 25 Euros won't break the bank though and our club stall space is definately free.

#131 PostAuthor: Peter K. » Mon Feb 13, 2012 11:55 am

Just now I got a call from Jochen Hack of our local Kawasaki dealer and was told as follows :

a) The Kawasaki promotion truck is definitivly on site
b) Kawasaki will offer various merchandising articles specially for the 40th anniversary (T-shirts etc...)

Additional information :
The acivities for 2012 inside Kawasaki headquarter Europe are currently under consideration.
It is expected, that the Z-rally at lake Edersee will be used by Kawasaki to show up
significantly for the celebration of the 40 year Z1.
