Crushing disappointment. Its all back together and fired up. Big clean, new gearbox springs and seals, new chain and a 15 tooth sprocket on the front ( It used to have a 16 tooth ) Now the chain is making a shocking noise on overrun due to fowling something. It'll all have to come apart again. So it looks like I'll be on a Yamaha for Kawasaki day after all that work. I'm going to the Swan & Bottle in Uxbridge now to drown my sorrows ( they serve delicious Abbott Ale there ). See you at The Ace tomorrow. I'll be the bloke on a Yamaha with a Z1OC badge and a face like a slapped bum!

I stilll have the GPZ Mr Bedlow sir. Alas, no front brakes on the GPZ due to fluid leeking out and lifting the paint off the anti dive. Just back from drinking Abbot Ale at The Swan & Bottle in Uxbridge. Life doesnt seem too bad after all!
