Andy, Piggy has just had an oil in frame done at Griff's, I believe he is quite happy with it. I plan to take my GPz1100 frame + parts there tomorrow.
I have had several jobs done at Griff's, or 'Reality Motor Works' as I think they call 'emselves now. Quality is always good, however for me at least the turn round times seem to be twice as long as what you will be quoted.
I went in on Monday to collect some bolts that were in to be 'Black Zinc Plated'. I was told they had been done bright zinc by mistake & need to be re-done....so that's four weeks & still no bolts to be seen!!
In a nutshell, they do a very good job........ as long as you don't need it in a hurry!!

Have a chat with Mikey he may be your best bet for the info, unless some one has used Griff

Nick at Griff Reality Works is OK..... As GB said, they did me Trumpet OIF and a good job too :P

Said it'd be 2 weeks..... I dropped the frame & stuff off... and he said probably 3 weeks..... So let me know before I left the stuff there.

Ready in 3 weeks 1 day.... Lovely job (& a spare "J" head fin welded back on).

Ralphy knows him form his skool days :?? Bloody hard place to get too/find though :!:

Hi all,
my main concern is as with OIF,is so long as nothing get in the oil tank, we be fine, I take it your oil tank was kept clean, no problems with having to clean the tank out after? you cant see inside the tank,

Nick at Griff's has a T140V himself, and he has done loads of OIF Trumpets, so has all the blanking plates & bungs to suit. I also opted for the chemical dip to ensure the oil was cleaned out so the grit (if it got in) wouldn't stick.

I also flushed the frame when I got it back.... seemed OK

I had loads of stuff done by Griffs for my Lawson. Great service, fantastic finish and they highlighted some cracks which need repairing properly and did not charge the earth.

Could not recommend them enough. Turn round might be slow if you are desperate but this was not an issue for me.
