Keihin carbs balancing

#1 PostAuthor: Robw » Wed May 27, 2009 9:05 pm

I would like to check the balance on my CR carbs, but can't seem to find anywhere to put the balance pipes. I have checked the Keihin website and have had no joy. Can any one help.

im guessing you are using J model rubbers with no pickup point so you may have to drill and tap the front tubes on the carbs and screw adaptors in and after put blank off screw in there.
dragracing, because it takes more than one ball !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The CRs seem to use different screw in adaptors depending on what bike they're supplied for - I was delighted to find that the ones I got off Zed Power come with adaptors that fit into the standard Z1000 A1 rubbers neatly avoiding this dilemma :D I had assumed I would have had to use the J rubbers and follow the path Ade has suggested.
