I'm renovating a pair of old Hagons I have on my A4. The shocks are fine but the springs and the top shrouds are all pitted and rusty. I'm minded to just replace the springs, perhaps with some black ones. Anyone know where I can get aftermarket springs? They are 221mm in length but do I need to know the poundage?

Also, can I put the springs on without the shrouds. The two collets seem to fit on top of the springs OK but if they come loose ...javascript:emoticon(':ooer')

Yes Hagon are top people to deal with, but why not have the springs etc epoxy coated :?: Epoxy coating is very flexible, my local coaters do loads of springs/shockers and never have any probs.... just a thought...

Thanks Guys. Epoxy sounds like a good option. Any recommendations of good firms that do this?
