ploogs
cheers steve thats just what i needed to know

I've tried both NGK and Denso iridiums, both are a noticeable benefit, but on one of my bikes ( not a Zed ) , I've found that the Densos are markedly better at igniting less than perfect mixtures.
One word of warning, Iridiums, especially with Dyna coils, are almost capable of igniting fresh air
..... you can have a very ( too ) lean mixture and you don't get the typical hesitation symptoms, until its a bit too late..
So even though they burn clean and are supposed to last for 10's of thousands of miles, still make a habit of checking the colour once in a while.

He who dies with the most toys wins .
I've used iridium's on a bike with worn piston rings and I found trouble with starting due to fouling the number 2 plug. Once I got it going they were noticeably different especially at low rpm/speeds. I changed to iridium's on a my Z1A which as recently had work done so no piston ring issue and I wouldn't use anything else now, really smooth.
