Hi All,
Is there a certain sequence in tightening the bolts on the cam cover and what is the Tq you use?
Any help always appreciated.

BigMac, no real sequence, but I would start from the centre & work outwards. Torque setting according to my Haynes manual is 0.8kg, but in reallity, that is just a gentle nip.

its best to use a spanner to do this because they snap off to easy

I was taught by my dad that proper spanners are the size they are so that you dont over tighten bolts when using just your fingers... if that makes sense.

True Baz........ Torque wrenchs are OK for bigger stuff... but a "real" mechanic can "feel" the force
