i do feel as though i am all questions at the moment, but its a learning curve guys.
Ive put the front caliper on and bleed the system, brakes OK [for a z]. my question= the shaft bolts [allen key heads] do you tighten them right up and close the caliper? having heard on a recent post of someones brake slamming on because of the fluid heating up from the hot disc, i thought i would check. [ the manuals say nothing]

The 2 bolts in question are to be torqued up,25 ft lbs I think but check your manual, prior to assembling the caliper lightly coat these 2 bolts with copper slip grease in between where the 2 rubber boots go on each shaft, the caliper is meant to "float",the grease will aid it.

They should be tightened up Mick.Make sure the carrier bracket moves back and forward on the allen bolts shafts(there will some resistance) and you should be good to go.
