Engine stripped, cleaned and rebuilt. Carbs cleaned and new brass work. All settings as per book for 1975 Z1B carbs which are fitted to '75 Z1A. Bike starts a treat and runs well on choke, though odd squeek and cough initially, however won't run off choke. Can control rpm up to 3,000 on choke but as soon as the choke is off or the throttle is opened with the choke on there is induction noise and the old girl just dies. Any ideas before major investigations begin?
Also supplied with pilot screws supposedly correct for this model however they are not the same as the ones that came out, which of course may be wrong. Would like to attach a photo to see if anyone can identify which are the correct ones, how do I do that? Same problem above with both types in.
Regards, Neil
